Hopefully this and other releases that do not compromise or water-down will prove that 'aiming' at a demographic is senseless and pleases nobody. The people you're trying to 'trick' into liking the music won't really like it anyway as it's half rap / hardcore or, and why would you want people who don't really like what YOU do listening to you anyway :confusion: - and then the fans who actually do like what YOU do will just be disappointed. It's good for nothing and is a cheap tactic.

:b: for more honest releases.

we should also say thx to Iovine as he didn't try to fuck that album

My personal experience was - I downloaded Section.80 and didn't really play it that much. Maybe once fully. But my girlfriend and flatmate (which I had downloaded on their computers) loved it straight away and constantly played it.

By the time I gave it a second proper listen, I was really familiar with all the beats and hooks and I fell in love with Section.80. It was quite a surreal experience for liking an album.

Congrats to Kendrick, he deserves it greatly. Such an unfortunate week to release it on though, the same week as Taylor Swift's album that will obviously sell great regardless of how shit the music is.

The album also generated 2.8 million streams through Spotify, the second highest first-week output so far this year behind Mumford & Son's "Babel."

My version of GKMC is really good. Got all the leaks on a third disc on iTunes.

Kinda bad that the album don't have many standout tracks. I loved the album from start to finish, men I only have 2 songs on my Ipod from this album.
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
