I think you guys are tripping just a bit tbh. Rhianna's image is nothing compared to the Mickey Mouse Club artists that Em use to lash out against. She's not trying to appeal to preteens and going out of the way to have a squeaky clean watered down role model like appeal to a younger generation. I mean christ have you seen her new album cover? shes completely naked showing her tits with the word "unapologetic" across her nipple. Not to mention shes VERY respected among the hip hop community and has collabed with many heavy weights including jay-z and Kanye. You can call it "selling out" if you like but i really don't see how making a song with a talented POPULAR singer is considered that unless it was someone like Justin Beiber. And honestly collaborating with these people is part of the reason em stays relevant. Thats just how the industry works. I mean yeah I would prefer if he chose diff. people to make songs with but i can see why he chooses these people. I'd rather be the guy getting radio play, media coverage, money, etc. than the guy whose music is getting slept on

Love Em but now I'm getting pissed off. In the last few and upcoming months he will have and had worked with Pink, Skylar Grey, Pink, 50 (understand that reason), and SH (understand that reason). You will work on 3 tracks with pop stars and yet Tech is on his knees begging for you to get on his track and Nas reached out to you for a Daughters remix. You haven't responded to Tech and you declined Nas but you say yes to Rihanna. That is what pisses me off with Em.

Em responded to Tech for So Lonely saying he was down to do it but he would've needed a few weeks because he was out of town, and you know as well as I do how much Em loves his studio, so he probably wanted to record there.

Tech needed it sooner than that so it got put off. Tech is yet to approach Em to our knowledge for his next LP.

Em is going to announce he is doing a collab with Justine Bieber or Wack Miller and some fans will still defend Em. I love Em but enough is enough. "He needs to remain revelant?" He's fucking Eminem. Every time something goes down with him the world watches. He has what the second most liked page on Facebook. He doesn't need to remain relevant by collaborating with Rihanna. Fact is it seems like he cares more about collabs with pop stars than MCs. With the exception of the Shady family all Em has collaborated with since Relapse is Drake, Nicki, Lil Wayne, and B.o.B. Your telling me where Em was there was no studio near him where he can record a quick 16 for Tech? That's bull. I know he prefers his home studio but all Tech asked for was 2 verses. its not like Em was working on an album. His reason for not doing Nas's Daughters remix is bull too. He said he doesn't want to talk about Hailey anymore and yet he included a verse about her in Going Through Changes and talked about her in Airplanes part 2. I'm not hating on Em, I just want better collabs.

Rihanna is one of the biggest female singers on urban radio in the past few years (What's My Name?, Birthday Cake, Rude Boy, Talk That Talk, etc. were big hits on urban radio, the same radio stations that play Kendrick Lamar, Nas, etc.).

A lot of her songs are musically the same as hip hop songs, just with singing over them instead of rapping. Like Talk That Talk has pretty much the same beat as Black and Yellow. Other songs like Cockiness, Hard, Rockstar 101, Raining Men, Roc Me Out, Birthday Cake, etc. use hip hop instrumentals.

On her latest album she used producers like Bangladesh, Hit-Boy, The Dream, No I.D., etc, the same producers lots of hip hop artists use.

I'm glad it sounds like it'll be an up-beat song, because I don't want another LTWYL clone.

Em could have done a better job but the beat itself was horrible so it was okay, and Pink sounded lazy on it.
I thought Em's verse was okay, but a more interacting song would be better, I hate hearing just one verse, I wanna feel the chemistry and hear a bridge from Em....you know?

I don't get how you can say Em could've done better on his verse. He killed that shit rhyming wise, delivery wise, humor wise...

LP's (my favorite band) Numb is way too hard for Rihanna to even sample it. I actually thought they might use this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cesrlcnsmw), but since they said it was going to be a banger, and not a balled, that's not gonna happen... The songs will sound nothing like each other...
