LMAO! Can't disagree. What can we do? This is an Eminem Forum at the end of the day.

On Topic.

As much I appreciate Possessed, I like Psiklone even more. Most of his lines are very creative and hard hitting, like this one for instance "Chalk outlines for murder scenes minutes before the victims were born"
[Rollefsen] - SajN retired, bitch got old, unlike Sams "ladies".

Yeah Psiklone is crazy too. I think we can agree both of them have more clever lines than everyone else in Hip-Hop combined :coffee:

Psiklone is very underrated. Possessed is better though.

"Burying peace pipes, digging up the hatchet"

I love this line, for it's simplicity.

And I agree with Rev here. It would be stupid to exclude clever Eminem lines. The 'Remember Me' example was perfect for this thread.

No, none of the Eminem lines posted are even remotely close to "most clever lines in Hip-Hop"

The Remember Me was a great example of a clever line. I don't really see your angle for finding a way it's not clever.

"Ah! But it's not the most clever!1"

Umm, as opposed to "I make headlines like you raised your eyebrows"..?
Yeah, you're probably right....that is the most clever line in hip-hop.

Actually the line was, "you couldn't make headlines with raised eyebrows" which is a perfect double entendre yet is extremely simply and is still funny and hits hard. That's what clever is.

"I promised the fuckin critics I wouldn't say fuckin for six minutes"

And that's clever because? All he did was flip an old Dougie Fresh line. That's not clever or creative or hard to come up with.

That's a much better punchline
That's what clever is.
That is very reductionistic of you. But I know you are a huge fan of puns.

"I promised the fuckin critics I wouldn't say fuckin for six minutes"

I can't believe I have to explain how this line is clever.
Firstly, it's classic MMLP era irony--where he's promising to clean up his image to the fuckin' critics. Geddit?

And then, as you know, he goes on to fulfill the promise--and 'successfully cleans his image up'.

You don't need to explain it because I get the line, I just don't think there is anything special or clever about it. He doesn't "successfully clean up his image" because he doesn't saying fucking. He still says fuck and loads of other things multiple times. Besides, I don't think him not saying fucking was even intentional, you guys are just reaching for shit like always.
