I hate laziness - why rap the same verse you've written and performed before :confusion:

Whenever I see shit like this, especially from guys like Hopsin who are coming up - it's like, man, you have a shot to blow people away in a NEW way, why not write something new and mind-blowing.

Written before ? Yes
Performed many times before ? No
He did it a few times but Em was already known to be one of the best rappers (well, in fact he was known to be the best)

And?

I'm on about Hopsin here.

Also, Em did do that sometimes yeah, but more often than not he wrote freestyle verses to be spit, as freestyle verses such as his 'Fubba U Cubba' verse, his 'Only Fair to Warn' verse etc.

He wrote a lot of verses just to spit to showcase too.

Can we have a rule that you're not allowed to talk about Eminem outside of the Eminem section :facepalm

But show me a song on an album where he spits that?

hopsin has everything to prove while eminem was known to be the best at that time.
I think he didn't do any freestyle with verses from his songs at the begining of his career

That was from like 99. He was not considered the best then.

If it's rly from 99 then... Nice find :y:

but even with SSLP, Eminem was considered as a futur great rapper, Hopsin is still far from that road tbh

You should give your best when you have everything to prove imo and hopsin seems lazy as fuck (I have watched another freestyle of Hopsin... he didn't even know what to say  )

for real though, if ya'll don't know that Eminem used to recycle freestyles then you're not a big enough Eminem

theres so many examples...take the first 2 verses of No Apologies for one

and it's not about me hating, I'm just pointing it out as class was doing when ignorant posters started saying "oh no not marshall" lol...most rappers do it

You're just pulling all of this out of your ass. There are many people that consider Hopsin a future great rapper. Granted he has a lot of haters but don't act like Eminem didn't have haters also. That's all irrelevant though, why do you get a pass if you've already made it big? Then laziness is okay? The excuses you people make to defend Eminem are mind-boggling.

I've slated many things Eminem does. :coffee:

Apparently I'm the Stan, yet you can't help but bring him up.

In my post, I said I hate laziness full-stop, and hate when ANYBODY (including Eminem) uses a song verse for a freestyle showcase. I didn't exclude him, so that's in your head.

So you just chose to completely ignore what I posted? That was one example, as Slimsoxshady said, he freestyled both of the No Apologies verses, I've heard him "freestyle" a verse from Who Knew before, I'm sure there's more I can't think of.
