Annnnnd the Battle Rifle is still gay. I swear it's ridiculous to the point of where you can't hardly move without some faggot sniping you with a Battle Rifle from far away. Assault Rifle forever.

The battle rifle takes way more skill than the assault rifle though. If you dont get headshots it's useless.

Yes, but it's overpowered and IMO for pussies. I like the sniper rifle, I even like the DMR (at least better than BR) but the Battle Rifle...it's fucking ridiculous. Pretty much if you don't have a long ranged weapon yourself, you're fucked.

In this game it's REALLY overpowered though...like I'll just get shot twice then I fall, fuck that. I'll be firing a whole clip of AR bullets into the guy then the guy pulls the trigger two or three times...oh look, I'm fucking dead and get an assist, awesome. It doesn't compliment my play style well at all is another reason why I might hate it.

It takes more technical skill I guess, but to me it doesn't take skill to stand far away and just keep firing the BR 'til you kill someone.

And Kill You the DMR is the same thing as the BR but it only shoots one bullet instead of a burst. I'm pretty sure the range and damage is identical.

It's really not...Battle Rifle is more powerful, which is actually quite ridiculous. One bullet, three bullets...both weapons aren't that great to me it's just the DMR is a little better. I think it's because people don't whore it as much. I think my main issue with the weapon is just everyone uses it so extensively that it's starting to take over as the default Halo weapon, which is pretty gay considering Halo 1 didn't even have the stupid weapon.

It takes 5 shots to take down a full shielded person with a BR. You're exaggerating when you say "two shots" unless of course he's pro and hits you with a sick grenade before the duel.

BR takes minimum 4 shots to the head to kill.
And I know the BR is a three round burst, but that three round burst does the exact same damage as the one dmr bullet.

Alright, maybe I was exaggerating but it's still not right when you'll be firing at the guy and then all he has to do is shoot you a few times. I believe if you shoot first, as long as you're landing shots then you should kill the other player. Unloading a whole clip just to be killed by some fucker with 4 shots is very annoying.

On the plus side, I beat the campaign finally. Was taking my time with it. The storyline was pretty great, probably the best told Halo in the series. Now it's time to beat it on Legendary.

DMR and BR does the same exact damage, DMR has more range, BR is better at close range
