:smoking:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

L. Banks is a better rapper but not a better artist imo.

Impossible for him to drop a GRODT or a The Massacre

He would have been a better artist if he had the budget 50 had.

I don't think so.
Not everyone can release these albums.
50 became a businessman and dropped shit songs but the 50 from 98-2002 was even better than banks at his prime so I rly think the budget had nothing to do with Curtis's talent

Banks destroys him whenever they're on the same song.

he sounded hot when he was an independent artist and even nas didn't destroy him on the same songs.
everybody wanted to sign 50 at that time, we can't rly say the same for banks

It is considered as a classic even if you don't like the artist =p
(it is also praised as one of the best party albums of all time)

It sounds fucking great, it's special & unique and it is extremely well produced AND written imo

Talking about logic...

you can't listen to grodt in full so you think the album isn't great or isn't a classic ?

lol no.
YOU can't listen to it in full, we're talking about you and rev.

the whole world doesn't listen to TMMLP or Illmatic, I know a lot of ppl who can't listen to these albums, it doesn't mean they aren't classic albums.
