Now I know that many of you critiqued my analysis of Encore being better than Recovery. But you cannot deny that Numb is even worse than Relapse. Eminem was absolutely shit on this track. And what's with the corny voice and choppy flow? Another disappointing song by Eminem.

idk man, it wasnt that bad. i thought the "butt police" line was...kinda funny. it was a eye roll with a wow! that was corny laugh, but a laugh nonetheless. the problem with that line is he prolly shouldn't have called himself a "butt police", since theres no such thing, he cud have worked it into a reference of how police abuse their power of frisking and approached it like that but i've never sold 100 million records, dafuq wud i know.

This, tbh. Em's career is a phoenix, ever rising from the ashes. Seriously though, he's done so many retarded things over the years, made so many ridiculous songs... And he's always managed to come back from it. Obviously at some point, he'll just not really have "it" anymore, and it remains to be seen whether he's reached that point, or if he still has the juice for some more quality material. Best bet is to wait for his album, imo. If it's as good as Recovery (which shouldn't be too difficult to manage), he'll remain respectable in the eyes of the general public. If it's significantly worse and he doesn't say anything worthwhile, then he'll probably get somewhat ridiculed (on a more public scale than some Eminem forums and stan twitters). But if he makes a BETTER album than Recovery... there will be much rejoicing.

I think all these scenarios are equally plausible.
