Why do people think Eminem has a chance to be his old self?

Eminem has bombed 3 times in a row with Encore in 04, Relapse in 09, and Recovery in 2010. We have heard Numb, HCTW, and Throw it Up. Eminem is clearly very random and not clever with his lyrics and delivery. Why do some people on here anticipate the next Eminem album being a classic? Don't we all know that deep down Eminem is just gonna make an album that vibes with the mainstream?

He was awfully close on Deja Vu, Psycho, The Warning, parts of My Mom...early-to-mid 2009 Eminem was a breath of fresh air. If only someone could undo all the damage he suffered since then.
