Yea take a look at this http://alturl.com/frzbn

That is Vintage Slim Shady. Don't you all want a similar Shady back? Or at least one that resembles The Lose Yourself/8 Mile Shady? Now everything that Eminem puts out is accepted. Even people are ok with ''Numb.''

The thing is Eminem had this aura about him that made you like his songs immediately as opposed to now where people even admit that the songs have to grow on them.

I don't understand why Eminem can't at least try to get some of his old swagger back. He over complicates his music sometimes and tries to sound too fancy and I find it atrociously superfluous.

He just needs to rap on rhythm and say things that make us go ''What did he just say, that a boy slim.'' But he is not in sync with the beats. And sometimes they resemble freestyles.

I don't hear anymore anger in Eminem. I hear forced yelling. Now there is a disparity. What's quite profound is that Eminem no longer has the hunger. But I think he should. He doesn't have to be hungry to be rich. But he should have the hunger to rap about how he takes pride in being the best MC in the world, he should make a song pissed off at the dark years, a song about politics. I don't want to hear a Justin bieber collab because that is where he is heading.

And no more weird voices. Remember him in ''The Art of Freestyle.'' He needs to have an attitude similar to that one and work on it from there. He can get back somewhat to what he once was. But is he going to settle for the subpar songs such as ''Numb'' or ''Throw It up?'' He could have done better on ''Our House.'' What he really needs to do is try to be old shady. Isn't that what he always tries to do anyways? Challenge himself to sound different? Well what better challenge could there be then to be Old Shady? Art of Rap Freestyle is a start. Collabing with Hopsin is another because Hopsin will bring it.

At least Jodie Foster has style in the sense that she knows ''Lose Yourself'' is a good quality song. She would never rap to ''Numb.''

And Eminem did have one shot and took advantage of it. Now, it's like he has NO shot.

I facepalmed so hard at this comment I nearly broke my nose :facepalm2
I just want a legit answer, why the hell do you bother to post on this forum?

I'm just trying to knock some reality and sense into STans. I feel that I have the right to voice my opinion. I'm not insulting or offending anyone personally. I used to like Eminem in his first 3 albums, but he has disappointed each album after that. If Eminem actually made a good album, I would give him credit. But now he raps about fast food and isn't clever.

so you come in that forum , just to inform his fans how bad he is...wtf seriously!!?
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

Do you expect these non-rappers who rap these songs like LY to be impeccable?

I've just realised, Hopsinshadie is the person Stan would've become if he didn't kill himself, jk, jk

I personally think we'll never know the place "current Eminem" is in until we hear the next record. I understand we can have pre-judgements about it by assessing features, but that's hardly a full body of work if you get what Im saying.
Oh, no offence to any Hopsin fans- naah fuck it-I'd actually shoot myself if there's a collab on his album

No you are pretty spot on. I was actually a huge Eminem fan back in the days when his first 3 albums came out. I was die hard with the whole Shady Aftermath clique. I listened to Eminem, D 12, G Unit. But once Relapse came out, I realized I can't stay on this bandwagon anymore. Hopsin was the greatest thing to happen for me. He is like a black Eminem reincarnated. I wish Eminem had Hopsin's attitude these days.

So a carbon copy of Slim Shady is better than the real thing? Oooookay. And lol about you "jumping off the bandwagon" when Relapse stopped. So pathetic. Relapse is dope and Hopsin thought so too.

Lol, you wish he had the attitude of a little know-it-all fuckhead? Nah I'm good. Dude preaches on FB constantly.

Oh please, don't defend this fucking idiot. Guy clearly isn't a fan anymore anyway and hasn't been since Relapse dropped. I think people who aren't fans now should move the fuck on and stop posting in this section. (Looking at a lot of you)

You have to be a fan to be on this forum? What kind of a policy is that? I still keep up with Eminem, there is always hope that he can return to form, but his window of opportunity is pretty small. I don't understand why more people on here don't share the same views as me. If Shady returned, I'd gladly eat my words and I would be happy.

People don't share the same views as you for one simple reason: you're fucking retarded.
