Joey's Pray For Me is a hundred times better, and it's not my favorite Joe Budden song.

Is that even a question? Pray For Me is better than everything Royce has ever done imo. And I heard Royce's albums. Sure Joe can be boring sometimes, but that song is a masterpiece. Pure gold.

Except for a few songs, I agree. I hate that Off to The Races hook...

heres a break down from a budden stan

thought the tape was good, not great but good. i thought every single feature was terrible, tsu surf and royce especially, my god why cant royce do well anymore.

budden did well, nothing stood out to me on topic matter or a single verse where i was like wow budden did it again
maybe the third verse of the collab with royce.

too many emanny collabs, guys a nice singer but cmon, felt like a summer leather vest tape.
there was no punch tracks to break the emotional track spree, and i like his punch tracks so that was a shame.
the whole loose quarter theme still escapes me but thats not important

so overall ft sucks, most hooks were sing song crap with decent budden verses, felt too emotional but overall a decent tape and not sure what the album will be like since he said hardcore fans will hate it

Good to see Royce giving Em some applause in his verse. He is a stan.
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Totally did not hear that at all. What line?

I agree with those who think that Joe can be boring. Sort of a "heard one, heard them all" type of artist, for the most part. His voice is the problem. And I fail to see why he needed to have Emanny on like 90% of it, but...whatever, it's a mixtape.

I don't think he mentioned Em. He might have said " 'em ", but not like "Eminem", you know? :y:

what yall want he talks so much shiiiit... "modern day present rap fans are fickle its depressin, one single, one album and they put him with the legends" ... im gonna say this was talking about the kendrick album... plus the "It’ll save us some confusion everything ain’t a classic and everybody ain’t dope some of that is an illusion" songs where he talks shit like that are my favorite joe tracks. when he steps away from all the emotion its awesome.

Joe Budden and Royce are probably the reason why the SH album sounds so radio friendly. I mean Joe's first single has Wayne on it.. Lol.
