Hell The Sequel - who wins, royce or em?

Postby tadpole25 » Nov 25th, '12, 20:47

Welcome To Hell - Eminem wins, lyrically, by far, with more multis. Since this was more of a freestyle than a song.

Fast Lane - Both come very close. Tough decision, but I give this one to Royce.

The Reunion - Both were entertaining, but I find Royce creating a new persona for himself more entertaining them Eminem trying to return to an old persona. Royce.

Above the Law - Royce does well here, but Eminem wins by far.

I'm On Everything - Eminem's weakest verse on the album. Rapping about pasta, really? Not a really lyrical song, but catchy. I liked Royce's verse though.

Kiss - I think this one a tie. Eminem successfully tries a new flow here and Royce is flat-out hilarious.

Lighters - Eminem wins here. Royce's verse was good but had weak lines like the "parks itself, autotunes" line.

Loud Noises - Weakest Royce verse on the album. Eminem does better than Royce by far. Budden and Crooked do really well, but Ortiz just maniacal and savage here, which was the point of the song. Ortiz wins.

Take From Me - Eminem does really well, but this is Royce's strongest verse on the album, especially the second half of it. Royce's verse here may be my favorite of the whole album. Royce wins.

Living Proof - Royce wins here.

Echo - Two of the strongest verses on the album. I say it's a tie, but if I were put at gun point, I'd say Royce won this song.

The final score, I'd say is 6 to 5 in favor of Royce. Really close.

Royce added a whole new persona to the album where Eminem was predictable.
Royce has some really weak verses, but overall he stays on point, and can keep up with Eminem.
An excellent mainstream debut for Royce and a necessary evolution in delivery for Eminem.
Both win, but I'll be honest, Royce was much more entertaining for me.

LOL, it was classic Shady.

And Royce tried too hard while Em was just having fun, Em was by far better on The Reunion as well.
Royce verses on Loud Noises, I'm On Everything were lazy, his verses on The Reunion and Above The Law weren't that good either.

Ha ha! Blulbublublub
Ha ha! Blublublublub

Can you name a worse verse on the album? Other than Royce's Loud Noises verse.

Royce did good, but not good enough to outshine Em.

Painkiller. I think Royce doesn't outshine Eminem, it's pretty much a tie. But he comes really close.

Ray K I agree.

royce was a complete retard on lighters.. like nothing rhymed and his flow was awkward because of nothing rhyming lmao. lighters was just a bad song.. but eminem absolutely destroyed royce on that.. however that
"die my hair back blonde again and laugh, im the real macaroni you cheesy bitch, im demonic with the kraft"

that line was so unbelievably bad. but eminem takes it because when royce does have a bad verse its way worse than when eminem has a bad verse.

Fast Lane: Royce.

The Reunion: Eminem.

Above The Law: Eminem

I'm On Everything: Eminem

A Kiss: Tie.

Lighters: Didn't like either verses but Em was more tolerable.

Loud Noises: Eminem...Not that it was any good tho.

Take From Me: Royce.

Living Proof: Royce.

Echo: Tie.

Em got 5(6 if you wanna count Lighters), Royce got 3 and two ties.
Seems about right.

And i'm a big fan of Royce, been one for 7 years now, so this was not bias at all.
And Em's verse on I'm On Everything was awesome you fools.

I agree wit everything except Echo and Fast Lane.. I think Royce got those

Nah. Royce's first verse is completely ruined by his "she said/i said" shit. Really annoying.
