I honestly doubt age has much to do with it. Crazy statements don't only come from the 16 year olds on this site. I do understand and agree with the point that people feel the need to fit in, despite their actual feelings.

Age has a lot to do with it.

I think in 5 years or so, you wouldn't say half the stupid shit you would say now.

Very much a back-handed compliment, lol.

Age is very important.
15 year old me as a member here would explode all over the forum with the hate towards Rihanna features and Lighters. I would not understand why Em is not bashing everybody and pointing his middle finger to every camera he sees. Now, I understand he is not that person anymore. I really don`t care what members say about me liking Love The Way You Lie or thinking that Numb verse is not that bad. I don`t like the song, I will never listen to it again, but I don`t think that Em`s next album will suck based on that verse. And 15 year old me would have his world destroyed by that song.

You can guess the age of members when you debate with them. You can see that you argue with a person that has no worries in this world, that has no experience with the world outside of their parents "safe zone". Not always, but that happens often.

For me, Eminem`s music is a big part of my life, his (and other artists as well) music brings me back to a time of my life when I had nothing to worry about, when I was just living to have fun. I appreacite him for everything he did. You can see that people here say "one more bad song or verse and will never listen to him again". But, what about all the great music he gave us.
I even like artists that I hated as a teenager because they were not "tough" enough for me.

It has a lot to do. I think everyone here who is a bit on the older side will agree with this. And I don't want this to sound like an attack on younger people because not everybody is the same.
I think it was name who said that he regretted some of his first posts. And you can see how some people matures a bit here.

I remember having 15, going out with my older cousins, I used to agree with many things with them, just for the sake of fit, or being cool. And probably (sure) 15 years old me wouldn't say I like "love the way you lie". Also some people here try to act tough too hard, even if you can see is all a fake attitude. And you definitely can tell the age of the people...But no matter how much we say this, you will only realized in a few years, someone told me this many years ago. Back then I hated him. It was true.

Age has nothing to do with intelligence, only with maturity and education and experience, which can all give the illusion of someone being more intelligent.

Don't know if that's what you're talking about, too lazy to read, but that's my take on age.
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

Not too sure if you're "overrated".

I also think that the person that sent you that PM needs to get a fucking life.

Although our philosophies differ, I tend to feel the same about you and a handful of others.

Class is right in that age is not a defining factor of intelligence, but rather maturity. Lack of maturity can often times be misconstrued as a lack of intelligence. Later on in life the two tend to go hand-in-hand, but not at such a young age.

Also, my first posts here were god awful.

If you're trying to use my young age as a reason for my unpopular opinions, then you're wrong. Of course my opinions will change as I grow older and experience different things. Hell, my opinions change every other week. I'm open-minded like that.

No.

I'm using your age as a reason you are so proud of your 'unpopular' opinions.

Yes. In your guys day, there seemed to be a lot more intelligent members on this board - which is a shame.

I think nobody said being old makes you more intelligent. But it doesn't make you have certain behaviors. Or you shouldn't have them.

Maybe he lacks intelligence in some fields, but he excels in others.

I don't think we can judge if someone's a true idiot unless we know them.

This is partially true. After spending years conversing with someone though, even through a forum setting, you expect to have some sorta grasp of who they are.

I've removed that from my signature some time ago.

Am I not supposed to be proud of my opinions?

I don't think you should act like your shit doesn't stink just because you don't love Eminem anymore.

Especially when you act the exact same way as the very stans, you feel you're above, when praising Kanye West.

I don't feel like I'm above anyone on this board. When have I given off the impression that I'm better than anyone here?
