My Life = Death of Fire Marshall?

Did anyone else get the vibe that ems verse on My Life was like a swan song for his recovery style voice and music? I sorta did and maybe i'm looking too much into this but at 02:17 he seems to be paying homage to his Take From Me verse and I maybe grasping at straws here but at 02:30 it's like hes paying homage to his Where I'm At verse as he says "how was i surpose to know" in almost the exact same way and beat does sound similar to Where I'm Ats beat at that point. Both songs are generally liked but people bitched and moaned about two punchlines mentioning shit on both songs, coincidence? The last line too where he says he shouldnt of made recovery, Alot of people are saying its just a play on words but i think there's some truth in it. Some dismissed him mocking his fans and being annoyed by them when Throw It Up and Richard dropped but his verse on My Life is convincing me he really is taking jabs at over critical fans. Maybe I'm reading to much into the verse but it did catch my attention nonetheless

The Take From Me hypothesis could be that he wrote/recorded this song and Take From Me around the same time hence the same type of style; they're both similarly upbeat.

And I was thinking the "How I was s'pose to know?" thing sounded the same, I dunno about that one...

Em calls himself Fire Marshall. On Fly Away, Welcome 2 Hell, and Seduction, he calls himself the "Fire Marshall", which to me sounds like an attempted mix of Slim Shady and Eminem. Usually fails miserably though (Won't Back Down, Cinderella Man).

Anyways, I'm thinking

1998-2001 -> Slim Shady era

2002-2003 -> Soldier era

2004 -> Rain Man era

2005-2008 -> The Ambien Gangster era

2009-Early 2010 -> Psycho era

2010-2011 -> Fire Marshall era

2012 -> ?
