College D had the no1 radio songs on it. The songs that made me hear Kanye for the first time = didnt make me i terested. Im sorry. Im more into His dark and twisted fantasy, even though its just roughly nice beats. Fuck man, Kanye COULD be great, but im feeling he just wants to be in the fame spot. I dont have to take it further, everybody knows what I mean.

Actually listening to this album right now and it's my favourite Yeezy album for sure. I'm not the biggest Kanye fan, I really only like a few select songs, but this whole MBDTF tape is a classic. You can tell he put effort into making that one.

My only gripe is the its length. It's an hour long like most albums but with only 11 songs. I wish he had a lot more songs on there. On the plus side, I don't feel like I'm left hanging with the 6min songs. The mood of the song really sinks in and you get to hear all the things he can do with the song's production. I guess what I'm saying is I wish it was 2 hours long. I love MBDTF.

My favourite Kanye album always switches between his first two and MBDTF. All of his albums are great, but Graduation, and to a lesser extent 808's, aren't quite as good as those 3.

MBDTF > LR > CD > 808's > Graduation right now though.

It's crazy to think he locked himself inside a hotel room in Hawaii while we was making the whole thing.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I really love the mood Kanye set with MBDTF. It was truly a magnificent experience.

I will explain why I think Kanye is boring.

His delivery. His content. His mediocre lyricism which seems to be given a pass just because of his beats.

Guy can make some good beats, but that's about all I like about the guy.

And also, I know this has nothing to do with his music, but I can't stand his personality. A reason I love Em even more than I already do is because deep down he's a funny, kind, humble person.

Don't bash me for any of my opinions, in no way am I trying to start something and in no way did I attack Kanye in a condescending fashion.

The short video-documentary with Jay-Z is fascinating, every musical artist should watch it.

And Blu, you didn`t just ask a question, you wrote "lol wut". That is starting something.

Blu didn't do anything, lol.

Risefromtheashes, not sure if trolling, but calm the fuck down.

MBDTF is awesome. I don't play it that often nowadays but it is one of Kanye's most consistent albums I feel. His other albums probably have better highs though.

I know you're not trying to start something, and neither am I. But unless you've only listened to his recent hits, I'd understand why you'd call his lyricism "mediocre". If you take a look at his albums, you'll see they show excellent songwriting.

Unless you're just discussing rhymes. In that case, yes, Kanye's rhyming is mediocre. But it's a stretch to call his lyricism mediocre.
