I know Eyedea for a long time now.. But basically for his freestyles. I saw one on WorldStarHipHop like two or three years ago, when he totally killed the guy who started dancing behind him.

"This guy wants to be my back up dancer" or something. That was awesome and so clever. I have yet to check his music too.

That's such a turn off to me. I understand things that are deep obviously take time to fully grasp, but if it's something you have to pick apart, and force it into your head, then it's not really sounding like music to me.

But it's worth it...and you obviously don't listen to him to party and have a good time. You listen to Eyedea for the same reason you would read a novel, to learn and expand your mind and your thoughts.
