He gave us awesome beats, energy, a cool style change while rapping about something he was interested in and amazing rhymes.

The pressure was on once again from all the mainstream fans that wanted Em to rap about personal stuff.

He gave us shit mix tape quality beats at best, screaming, forced punch lines apologies and window pane that couldn't have sounded any more forced if Jimmy Iovine was in the background hitting him with a whip.

I don't agree. Em didn't lose many fans obviously with that pile of shit Encore, so I'm sure Relapse 2 wouldn't have scared anyone away.

Relapse has sold 5 million. No it wasn't the 20 million that the MMLP and Eminem show made, but it's rare that an album sells like that. 5 million isn't bad and if it was released 15 years ago before everyone just stole all their music, it would probably be closer to 10 million.

It's pretty obvious that label pressure and fan pressure created Recovery. And I think that is a bad thing. While it wasn't straight control, it might as well have been. Em is proud of Relapse and liked the idea of Relapse 2. And when you start directing an artist, instead of just letting them have artistic freedom, that's when you have problems. That's the main thing people have wrong with selling out, is artists change for the worse.
