Speaking of 8 mile rhymes, ima bring back a one whole peace of exelence, my favourite track that eminem ever made.

Some days I just wanna up and call it quits,
I feel like Im surrounded by a wall of bricks,
Everytime I go to get up I just fall in piss,
My lifes like one great big ball of shit,
If I could just put it all in all I spit,
Instead I always try to swallow it,
Instead of staring at this wall and shit,
While I sit writers block sick of all this shit,
Cant call it shit, all I know is Im about to hit the wall,
If I have to see another one of moms alchaholic fits,
This is it, last straw, thats all, thats it,
I aint dealing with another fucking politic,
Im like a stewin bubble in him, till it filters up,
Im about to kill it, I can feel it building up,
Blow this building up, Ive been sealed enough,
My cup run it over Ive been filled up,
But then explosion bust and spills my guts,
You think all I do is stand here and feel my nuts,
But Im a show you what, you gonna feel my rush,
You dont feel it then it must be too real to touch,
Feel to touch, Im about to tear shit up,
Goosebumps, yeah Im make your hair sit up,
Yeah sit up, Im a tell you who I be,
Im make you hate me cause you aint me,
You aint, it aint to late to finally see,
What you close minded fucks were too blind to see,
Whoever find me, is gonna get a finders fee,
Out this world and aint no one out there mind as me,
You need peace of mind, well heres a piece of mine,
All I needs a line but sometimes,
I dont always find the words to rhyme,
To express how Im really feeling at that time,
Yeah sometimes, sometimes, sometimes, just sometimes,
Its always me, how dark can these hallways be,
The clock stikes midnight, 1, 2, then half past 3,
This half ass rhyme with this half ass piece of paper, (tear)
Im desperate at my desk if I could just get the rest,
Of this shit off my chest, again, stuck in this slum,
Cant think of nothing, fuck Im stumped,
But wait here comes something,
Nope, its not good enough, scribbel it out, new pad,
Krinkel it up and throw that shit out,
Im fisseling now thought I had figured it out,
Balls in my court but Im scared to dribbel it out,
But Im afraid, why am I afaid, why am I a slave to this trade,
Sign that Ill spit to the grave, real enough to rawl you up,
What me to flip it I can rip it any style you want,
Im a switch, yeah a bitch, jimmy smith aint a quitter,
Im a sit here till I get enough,
For me to finally hit a fucking boiling point,
Put some oil in your joints,
Flip the coin bitch come get destroyed,
An mcs worst dream I make them tense since they hate me,
See me and shake like a shangeling fence,
By the looks of them you would swear yours was comming,
By the scream of them you would swear Im sawing something,
By the way they running you would swear the law was coming,
Its now or never tonight is all or nothing,
Momma, jimmy keep leaving on us, he said hed be back,
He pinky promised, I dont think hes honest,
I be back baby I just got to beat this clock,
Fuck this clock, Im make them eat this watch,
Dont believe me watch, Im a win this race,
And Im a come back and rub my shit in your face,
Bitch I found my neck, you gonna hear my voice,
Till you sick of it you aint gonna have a choice,
If I gotta scream till I have half a lung,
If I have half a chance I grab it, rabbit run...

these lyrics r probably not the most complex...but i just luv the way pac wurds them 2getha

"Changes"- Tupac

[1]
Come on come on
I see no changes wake up in the morning and I ask myself
is life worth living should I blast myself?
I'm tired of bein' poor & even worse I'm black
my stomach hurts so I'm lookin' for a purse to snatch
Cops give a damn about a negro
pull the trigger kill a nigga he's a hero
Give the crack to the kids who the hell cares
one less hungry mouth on the welfare
First ship 'em dope & let 'em deal the brothers
give 'em guns step back watch 'em kill each other
It's time to fight back that's what Huey said
2 shots in the dark now Huey's dead
I got love for my brother but we can never go nowhere
unless we share with each other
We gotta start makin' changes
learn to see me as a brother instead of 2 distant strangers
and that's how it's supposed to be
How can the Devil take a brother if he's close to me?
I'd love to go back to when we played as kids
but things changed, and that's the way it is

[Bridge w/ changing ad libs]
Come on come on
That's just the way it is
Things'll never be the same
That's just the way it is
aww yeah
[Repeat]

[2]
I see no changes all I see is racist faces
misplaced hate makes disgrace to races
We under I wonder what it takes to make this
one better place, let's erase the wasted
Take the evil out the people they'll be acting right
'cause both black and white is smokin' crack tonight
and only time we chill is when we kill each other
it takes skill to be real, time to heal each other
And although it seems heaven sent
We ain't ready, to see a black President, uhh
It ain't a secret don't conceal the fact
the penitentiary's packed, and it's filled with blacks
But some things will never change
try to show another way but you stayin' in the dope game
Now tell me what's a mother to do
bein' real don't appeal to the brother in you
You gotta operate the easy way
"I made a G today" But you made it in a sleazy way
sellin' crack to the kid. " I gotta get paid,"
Well hey, well that's the way it is

[Bridge]

[Talking:]
We gotta make a change...
It's time for us as a people to start makin' some changes.
Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live
and let's change the way we treat each other.
You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do
what we gotta do, to survive.

[3]
And still I see no changes can't a brother get a little peace
It's war on the streets & the war in the Middle East
Instead of war on poverty they got a war on drugs
so the police can bother me
And I ain't never did a crime I ain't have to do
But now I'm back with the blacks givin' it back to you
Don't let 'em jack you up, back you up,
crack you up and pimp slap you up
You gotta learn to hold ya own
they get jealous when they see ya with ya mobile phone
But tell the cops they can't touch this
I don't trust this when they try to rush I bust this
That's the sound of my tool you say it ain't cool
my mama didn't raise no fool
And as long as I stay black I gotta stay strapped
& I never get to lay back
'Cause I always got to worry 'bout the pay backs
some buck that I roughed up way back
comin' back after all these years
rat-tat-tat-tat-tat that's the way it is uhh

[Bridge 'til fade]
=]
lifee is GREAT

Perhaps I was addicted to tha dark side
Somewhere inside my childhood i missed my heart die
And even though we both came from the same places
The money and the fame made us all change places
How could it be through the misery that came to pass
The hard times make a true friend afraid to ask, for currency
But you could run to me when you need me, I'll never leave
I just needed someone to believe in, as you can see
It's a small thang through and true
What could I do? Real homies help ya get through,
And coming new, he'd do tha same thang if he could
Cuz in the hood true homies make you feel good
And half the time we be acting up call tha cops
Bringing the cease to tha peace that was on my block
It never stop, when my mama ask me will I change
I tell her yeah, but it's clear I'll always be tha same
Until the end of time

Please Lord forgive me for my life of sin
My hard stare seem to scare all my sister's kids
So you know I don't hang around tha house much
This all night money making got me outta touch, shit
Ain't flashed a smile in a long while
An unexpected birth worst of the ghetto childs
My attitude got me walking solo
Ride out alone in my low-low
Watching the whole world move in slow-mo
For quiet times disappear listen to the ocean
Smoking Ports think my thoughts
Then it's back to coasting
Who can I trust in this cold world
My phony homey had a baby by my own girl
But I ain't trippin I'm a player I ain't sweating him
I sexed his sister, had her mo' good like a Mexican
His next of kin, No remorse it was meant to happen
Besides rapping the only thing I did good was scrapping
Until the end of time

Now who's to say if I was right or wrong?
To live my life as an outlaw all along
Remain strong in this planet full of playa haters
They conversate but Death Row full of demonstrators
And in tha end drinking henessy made all my enemies envy me
So cold when I flow eliminating easily
Fall to their knees, they plead for their right to breath
While beggin me to keep the peace (haha)
Well I can see close into achieve
In times of danger don't freeze time to be a g
Follow my lead I supply everything you need
An ounce of game and the trainin to make a g
Remember me, as an outcast outlaw
Another album out that's what I'm about, more
Gettin raw till the day I see my casket
Buried as a g while tha whole world remembers me
Until the end of time

Yeah, you're pretty much an idiot so I won't bother explaining anything else. You like G-Unit which means you have no idea about real Hip-Hop and are a little bit of a Rap fan who got caught in the "pop" culture along with 4433434 other G-Unit fans.

Eminem's delivery is godly on songs like "Go to sleep." His lyrics as far as complexity goes are untouchable and he's one of the top 5 emcees of all time. Your beloved Banks has a long way to go before reaching that status.

Don't get me wrong, I like Banks, he's just not great. He's semi lyrical (which is a lot more than can be said for 80% of rappers out there just now) and has an average delivery (which is also a lot more than can be said for 80% of rappers out there right now).

I dont give a fuck about "real hip-hop" as you call Eminem. I know all about Harlem and Uptown tho, that's all i need. Keep riding the white boy right now. I remind you one thing tho, your white close-to-god MC Eminem did garbage tracks ever since My Name Is to Real Slim Shady to Without Me to Just Lose It to FACK.....so complex that half his singles are wack. Not to mention the fact he rapping about homosexuals and vicodine. That's sumthin Banks never did. Next time you call me an idiot try listening to black rappers, or Cypress Hill, Chino and Cuban Link.

Let`s see Lloyd banks write somthing like this!!

Big Pun - Superlyrical

Verse 1

Ay-yo my murderous rap verbal attack is actual fact
Tactical tracks match perfectly with graphical stats
Half a you lack the magical dap of tragical rap
That tackles you back and shackles and laughs at you
That's...the mathematical madness I'm on, the savage, the strong
The marriage, a bond of havoc and song
This massacre's on as if Picasso laced you
There's lotsa hateful skeletons locked
in the closet of my castle of Grayskull
I'm possum at grade school, that's why I have to debate you
My raps are like Capel, slashin' your face, you
That's how a master degrades you
I'm battlin' Jesus (hay-soos) if he passes through my label
I'm snatchin' his halo
God I pray that you send my father back as an angel
Language is fatal and it's hypnotizin'
I'm only emphasizin', I'm still all about business and enterprisin'
I'm super lyrical, a brain boosts the chemicals
That's used contenicals inside of my mental projectable

Canibus - Chaos (2000 B.C)

2nd verse

Yo check it *beat comes in*
I destroy your whole city block when I'm ready to rock
Blow the speaker box, magnetically shielded or not
Magnetically energy poppin gates of radio waves
Oscilate lyrics and beats copulate to pop your tape
Manipulatin space in large proportions
Millions of brain organs get lost when I start talkin
About shit like supernatural forces
Gnomes and theories and superstring theories
Most of you mothafuckers barely
Even understand the English language, much less think clearly
When I die, will I go to Heaven or Hell
Or will I end up in a place called the Van Allen Belt
I researched my roots, lookin for proof
The best place to hide a lie is between two truths
The aftermath of a nuclear blast
When the average death sentence becomes a dead paragraph
I dig a 5 by 9 rectangle in the grass
Reach your epitab and bury your ass
As the coffin gets lowered into the ground slowly
I'll sing all of your greatest hits, oldies on karaoke

I havent talked about Pun and Canibus (who was defeated by the white boy so he really dont count).

I talked about Em vs Banks. And i think i gotta say it once more. Em best aint even half to Banks worst.

Btw, Banks lyrics mean sumthin too, not like Eminem's 8 rhymes in 1 bar. There is a reason they call him Punchline King.

First of all, I do listen to "black rappers." I listen to Cassidy, Fabolous, Big L the list goes on. I also listen to Cuban Link, and Big Pun, lol. I'm a rapper, so I listen to who raps good, I listen to who's lyrical, not who's white, who's black, who's this, who's that.

Also, Eminem is complex, always has been. Yes, he's slipping just now, and I agree, I don't listen to his new shit. Encore was wack bar a few songs.

I'm not going to stick up for him anymore since you obviously don't get it. You obviously don't see the complexity that goes into those lyrics. Yes, even the ones where he's "rapping about homosexuals and vicodin."

Man, complexity put on a song about homosexuals and vicodine is a wasted complexity.

Banks rapping about the hood, about death, about drugs, without forgetting to say sumthin for the ladies whether hoodrats or divas, without forgetting to do sumthin for the club. So either way he winning by topics.

When you hear that lil white German lookalike kid with the pointy nose, nagging like a girl on a microphone about either hating sumthing, or blowing the dust of a chainsaw or a machette, it sounds corny enuff.

Topics that there`s nothing new to say on. At least Eminem has the balls to be different and to be personal, whether he`s successful doin it or not. The songs you mentioned "The Real Slim Shady" and "My Name Is" are vastly more intelligent than anything Banks could do, or 95% of other rappers for that fact. The only reason those songs are shit now is cos they`re overplayed and corny, but, lyrically even they belong in this thread.

Post your lloyd banks lyrics or leave the thread with your head down.

Dont give me the "had the balls for sumthin new" bullshit!!!! Yeah really, the bullshit Eminem usually talks is far more important than the pain of a ghetto. Cuz let's be reasonable here, 8 Mile AINT A GHETTO. Jamaica is, the last i checked. Maybe Eminem saying so many bullshits to his tracks becuz he never lived what 50 or Banks lived. And My Name Is aint more intelligent than Banks tracks. It's like saying Beastie Boys are better than 2pac.

And you should know, i never leave with my head down. Just a minute, ohhla dont have mixtape lyrics so i gotta write em myself.

[1st Verse - Till The End]
Nobody there knew they would die before they woke
They probably started off a beautiful day with weed smoke
Out of last night's pussy, the murder that she wrote
Cold sweatin from a nightmare, mind on a C-note
You leave the door with intentions of fulfillin your visions
Constantly sidetracked, thinkin bout who's your man or who isn't
Maybe it's necessary - maybe you're overreactin
Maybe your actual downfall is that ho that you're clappin
Maybe your pillow conversations been controllin the actions
Maybe your homey overheard and never told you what happened
You look behind you when you turn the corner, cause death is promised
You done seen some niggaz go before ya, the threats are honest
And with that lingerin in the back of your head
You know it's possible that you won't make it back in your bed
The confusion and jealousy and dishonor'll spin ya
But then none come worse than when that gunpowder's in ya

Basically the whole song, the other two verses are equally hard.

[2nd Verse - Aint No Click]
Make sure the birds don't get brought to him
I watched Kobe go from the Basketball Court to the courtroom
Go'head try to do my harm solider
And you'll be in a black bag like grass out the lawnmower
And I'll be damn if I cosign a old snitch
That was gangbangin' when Jaws was a Goldfish
Ive been named New York's screamin' on the street
For bullying the baseline and leanin' on the beat
I'm well known now so you see me on the creep
Schemin' on a freak, fan base leanin' on the jeep
They walkin' wit the fire
So if you say banks in ya verse, Then u better be talkin bout Tyra
From P.A. to L.A., Atlanta to Texas
Nashville to Memphis, My buzz is tremendous
I pass through the city slow, But hit the gas on a silly hoe
Bounce like ass in my video

[1st Verse - Born Alone Die Alone]
I'm on the prowl with the hammer, hardly smile at the camera
Too many niggaz is dyin, I'm spendin time with my grandma
A hundred grand in the safe's a hundred grand on your face
A million plus in the bank, will scuff in the paint
You handcuffin that bitch, she don't wanna be wit'chu
All she want is your chips, my lil' nigga beat it too
Sneak the heaters through, so we can party good
Grandson of Edith Rue, born out in Hollywood
The Boy Wonder will unravel your team
I'm TRL next to Avril Lavigne, all my karats are green
The buddha is purple, be rude and I hurt you
You're movin in circles, we do it all, movies commercials
Stadiums clubs, ladies and thugs, the hood to the burbs
I'm on the red carpet cause I'm good with my words
I'm ready for war and stackin my chips, you flappin your lips
You niggaz ain't even hood rich

The entire Southside Story i am too bored to post it.

[1st Verse - Without My Glock]
I'm on another level when it comes to this, cats swung and missed
Strapped under this, Rap's hungriest, top soloist, hopped over this
Cheap imitations try, couldn't find an ice pop colder bitch (Whooo!)
Wires get tap, your rep can't control the snitch
Which, means I'm in the BINGE if I throw 'em bricks
I dump karrots in the RING over flow the wrists
Man, I even bring the thing when I go to piss
Look, money ain't a THING thought I told them this
Yo ball big as Yao MING I'm a soldier miss (Yeah)
Only problem in hip hop is waitin'
Known when that butter, I make the strip pop like bacon
Hatin', so look sloppy so I stop get the rolly fitted
Got a fan base in the towns that think Kobe did it
Them dick riders on the block and they starvin'
Give me a year I'll be rockin' the Garden
They'll still be in the bricks, same bitch, same sloppy apartment
Bubble gum on the top of your carpet
Food stains in your clothes
They can't catch him
Dude's changin' his flows more than his hoes
Just got a Range and a Rolls
And these hoes didn't always love me I was pissin' them off
Cause you got to fuck banks before you get to the boss
Now I've moved up in rank, ice chips in the cross
To see me blow, is like vice grips on your balls

DOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha ha ha ha!
The super flow with more jokes than Bazooka Joe
A mix between Superfly Snuka and a superhoe
Chew a MC like El Chupa Nibre
Digest a group and sell the poop on eBay
Danger with the vest screamin "Shoot the DJ!"
Doom clickin over two chickens, three-way
Four in the 5, a cork on the freeway
Villain find a way to make 'em pay whatever we say
... state your intentions
"I really love your tape but I hate your inventions"
Very well - what you want, a brownie?
He took off the mask and whispered "Put me where you found me"
He kept his paper digits in a chunk
Once joined a rap click - midgets into crunk
He did a solo on the oboe
Coulda sold a million then the Villain went for dolo
... and cited creative differences
Basically they hated, he left no jaded witnesses
Rappers suck, when they spit I doubt 'em
The crap they sing about you'll wanna slap the {fuckin shit} out 'em
Psht - time waits for no man
On a blind date, a love with a slow chrome hand
Judged him by his shoes, hot smelly Brogan
Budged him with the news, called him pot-bellied Conan
... no prick barbarian
A strict bear-atarian, a sick pair of merry men
The beat is like a swift kick in the rear end
The stiff {dick} made her lose her lipstick and hairpin
He said "Djamn! Act like you know me
Even with the mask on, show me what you owe me"
Tell her brush her grill and wash her face and {twat} homey
Dumile got her like Inuyasha got Kagome
What we have here is a failure to communicate
If you gonna hate, might at least get your rumors straight
about Doom the Great, a lot more confident
Came a long way since the days we had to rhyme for rent
It was time well spent, vented
Spelt and dented, hell-bented and heaven-scented
A wire is dead, he's in it for the cash flow
I'd like to send a big up to Firehead Lazzo
Let a brother know once you lasso Hasbro
So when he come with Destro he gets no hassle
... could hardly get a word in and
wonderin what the damage is to retain Harvey Birdman?
