I just randomly went on RapGenius and chose a random Tech N9ne song and I tried reading through the first verse of this song called "URALYA".

All I have to say is...what the fuck?? I'm listening to the song as I type this up and I'm just completely confused as to how and why some of you can actually listen to this...

Some trap songs have retarded lyrics as well but their songs are actually entertaining. This dude's music is not entertaining at all. Honestly, it's just senseless mind babble (but that's just how the rhyme unravels).

Not to mention the guy looks like a complete clown (Juggalo lol) rapping (I'm watching the music video).

I don't understand what he's saying. Actually, it's not so much what he's saying, it's really how he's saying it. His thoughts seem all over the place and I guess his fast flow makes it much more harder for me to catch up with him and pay attention.

Sure. Tech has his own way of writing. I originally thought it was a copout for some verses until I saw that if you go back to his shit that's 20+ years old, he's still using the same grammatical structure. It's just how he writes and once you listen through an album or two you'll literally catch on as if it's a new language. This is why there's so much tension between serious hiphop heads that don't like tech, and one's that do. You have to pass a threshold to start really craving Tech's music, otherwise it's just fast-paced gibberish that you'll avoid until you really dive into his music and give it some listening.

Personally I can't listen to anything but it lately. I find that artists who leave blank room in their verses for breaths and shit almost irritating after a while. Pace-wise, Tech's music is untouchable. The amount of shit he can fit into a short verse is ridiculous.

So it's that paired with his seemingly bottomless bag of flows (and multi's) that keeps fans like myself addicted. And I don't think it's so much that it's Tech specifically, because while the clown makeup and all that wicked stuff is fun and all, the fact is there's simply nobody else doing music like this. As soon as there is I'll be all over them but until then it's really only Tech.

At the end of the day Tech N9ne's stage performance, tempo, style, and work ethic is something that to this day remains in a category of it's own.
