BS. It wasn't his best track but to say it's utter shit is an alteration of the truth. Hop madness was bad ass. Hopsin always keeps it real and goes hard.

Hopsin himself said it was, and I quote, "bullshit", and he scrapped it from Knock Madness.

It wouldn't have been good for a lead song, but it could have been the 3rd song. If it were behind 2 other more serious songs like ''Sag My Pants'', then Hop Madness would have fit in perfectly.

Honestly at this point Eminem would be better off making a lead single that's like ''Hop Madness.''

It's funny looking back at people's reactions. People on the forum were calling it an instant classic when it came out, and then were saying it was trash a few months later. I'm sure people are going to like it even more after his next solo album is released.

I just listened to it after a while I think it is phenomenal. I didn't even release how his style changed from then to now (as I've been listening to BME a ton). I loved it at first and played it like crazy, but I think what happens to people is that they get too much of it and it's not interesting anymore. So you need to give it a rest for a while and re-listen to it with fresh ears to really appreciate it again.

It's just music people. You have no capacity to be objective about music whatsoever. I love seeing people give tons of seemingly "logical" reasons why something is either good or bad, when really they don't exist. You can rationalize anything.

That monopoly board line isn't as bad as people make it out to be, in fact it's kinda good.

Yeah there's the pun of being on top of his game by standing on his monopoly board but at the same time a monopoly is when one power that totally controls a certain industry, so he's also basically saying that he's gotten complete control over the rap industry.

"Love is evil spell it backwards i'll show ya" is probably one of the worst on the album

Well, I never thought Recovery was good. Btw, I'm about to hops IN my Park Avenue, go out for a spin, and bump ''Encore.'' People critique that sole album very mindlessly and brashly without realizing that if ''We as Americans'' and ''Love You More'' replaced a couple of songs on Encore, then the general consensus would have blatantly different. Throw in ''You Don't Know'' or ''No Apologies'' then the album would blow Recovery out of the water.

The thing I love about that album was that it was still old Eminem. It was the last part of that chapter in his life.

I just gave Recovery another go. His vocabulary is much more enriched in Relapse. I feel that Eminem dumbed down his words on Recovery to appeal to a younger/more general audience. And he was scrutinized as a result of his style of choice. Thus, he had a line on ''My Life'' where he said ''I wish I'd never made Recovery.''

I was thinking about that vocabulary thing just last night while listening to Relapse on my Xbox.

Except it wasn't his vocabulary that made Relapse unaccessible for the average listener, it was the accents and the serial killer theme. He could be rhyming his ass off in Recovery, and the younger/more general audience would still only hear the beat and the hook.

Relapse is a highly underrated Eminem album. Recovery was the most overrated and mainstream like. Crack A Bottle, We Made You, Hello, Bagpipes from Baghdad, 3 AM, and Underground all had spectacular rhyming schemes. I think the beats were on par with Recovery as well. Eminem's flow was fine, people gonna say the album wasn't as good as Recovery just because of the voice.
