looking at the draw, Real is probably the best draw for United. Defensively shaky we may be, but Real has just been poor so far this season. Do have a feeling that it may be a Juve/Barca final if the QF draw plays out for that to happen though Dortmund have to be the Dark Horses

:worship: what a game!! Did you see how far Torres' header was?! Luiz with an astonishing free kick, he told the reporters that Frank taught him how to score them. Speaking of Frank, he scored a great goal on his 500th EPL start. Lucas Piazon looked great in the minutes he was in, shamed he missed a penalty, but this kid has a huge future in front of him

It's been a while since the PL has been spoken about!

Torres' header was sublime. Drogba would have been proud of that effort!

Frank scoring a stunner on his 500th appearance was so fitting, he's been such a servant to us over the years. If Lamps and Cole want 2 years, give it to them. Cole's still one of the best left backs in the world. He's not exactly easy to replace!

And yeah, Piazon was pretty solid. Shame about the penalty, but at 7-0, I think that can be excused. :flutter:

Oh and Luiz's freekick. Wow. Remember he's a CB (although I'd like to see him CDM a bit more after today's performance!).

Well, as we near the New Year here are my 'Halfway Point' thoughts:

- United: the addition of RVP (~15 goals + assists) has clearly given them the edge. They concede lots but can score when they like. Hot favourites.
- City: Adam Johnson > Sinclair, Nigel De Jong > Garcia. Tevez, Aguero, Silva, Yaya, Balotelli all playing worse than last year. Dzeko still shit. Can't score. Heading for trouble if we don't ship out Mario and get in a striker. Need to mix things up in January or the title is gone. Still hopeful though.
- Chelsea: should be up there with their squad. If they sign Falcao can see them going on a great run in the New Year and chasing City and United all the way. Always got the potential to self-mutilate.

Relegation:
Reading look doomed. QPR can, and probably will escape. Fancy Reading, Southamption and Wigan to fall through the trap door.

Liverpool: Lol. With David Brent in charge, anything is possible. Will finish 6th - 10th.

End of season:
1. City
2. United
3. Chelsea

Did you have a nice day out? Visit the "Mega Super Store? Buy a 'Man U t shirt', maybe a 'Red Devils mug' or a 'Busby Babes' pencil case? Watch 'The Boys' from your cushioned seat with your prawn sandwich and commemorative MUFC Scarf? Remember to frame your one and only match ticket at the swamp so you can show your kids you're a true Red Devil in the years to come.
