Yeah, that's the reason he sold 100 million records worldwide while neither of them are even half way there.
And how did it age fast if it still sells more than some hip hop albums? It pushes around a thousand copies every week, sometimes even 2 thousand.

Look at lil wayne, he's a superstar, one of the biggest sellers but he has been hated as fuck for a few years

For the sales, I was talking about the US only (10 M copies in 2010 )but I still think that most of these fans have been listening to him since day 1.
I have been a fan since 1999 but I only bought his albums last year.

Also, there isn't any blind hate. People respect Eminem, but they feel his recent work isn't showing his true potential, so they learn to move onto other artists. The reason people on KTT "hate" on Eminem is because that forum is full of hipsters that listen to sites like Pitchfork and listen to indie singers like Grimes.

MMLP might be a timeless classic to you, but it's not to everyone else and you have to learn to respect that. And btw, who gives a shit if Eminem is respected by his peers? Chief Keef is probably respected by his friends, but that doesn't make him a good rapper.
