You're making a case that he's better than Kendrick and J. Cole, then you call him a true artist and that's the song you post? All that is was two lame verses thrown onto a beat with talking in the middle. He had a mildly impressive flow coupled with a lackluster delivery, incredibly average lyrics and virtually no rhyming. If that's his best effort then you don't have much to go on.

Want better examples? Youtube Boobie Miles. If you hate on that, then there's no point in further discussion.

Same analysis except the flow was poor. Nothing about Big Krit is great, he's an average rapper on the same level as every other dude to come out of the dirty south.

Fuck no. KRIT is a phenomenal artist. A rare combination of all the important parts of hip hop, from flow to delivery to content. Plus he makes fucking jaw-droppingly good beats.

He recently killed a bunch of rappers, including Kendrick, on 1Train. If J. Cole was on it too, he would have suffered the same faith.

Just because you say that doesn't make it true. You haven't presented one thing from him that was anything above average and I'm not going to sit here and listen to songs all night. Big Krit shouldn't be in the same sentence as Kendrick or Cole.

You have already used that ridiculous "just because you say it" argument in the past. It's terrible.

I'm certainly not the only person who feel this way, considering how KRIT's previous tapes are considered phenomenal bodies of work and most people who appreciate good music appreciate and recognize his talent.

It doesn't matter what anyone else says. I don't care if everyone in the world thinks KRIT is the greatest rapper of all time. It's meaningless to this conversation, and it's irrelevant and actually works against you. G.K.M.C is the most praised album of the last couple years and Section.80 received huge critically acclaim as well. J. Cole's mix tapes are also some of the most praised tapes of all time and any hhh would say it. So even if you want to (wrongly) appeal to authority, you still lose.

Why would I "lose" if I wanted to appeal to authority, which I don't give flying fucks about by the way? Like I mentioned, K.R.I.T's tapes are highly acclaimed. Return of 4Eva I've seen getting more praise than any J.Cole project and Section 80.

For one, appeal to authority is a logical fallacy for a reason. It doesn't mean shit and holds no weight and two, I'm not gonna look up all the facts for all their tapes bus GKMC has had way more critical acclaim than anything Big Krit has put out so you lose right there.

Why do you keep bringing "popular consensus" to back up your point when I said I don't give a shit about what others think?

The KRIT song I mentioned earlier, Boobie Miles, I feel is a better song than anything on gkmc. So if a bunch of Internet, pasty white doo-rag wearing, rap expert wannabes think different, does that change my opinion about it? No.

I don't lose anything my friend.

Kendrick because his album was much better.
It's easy to write a hot song or a good 16, but to write an album that doesn't disappoint from start to finish is a feat worth recognizing.
