The KRIT song I mentioned earlier, Boobie Miles, I feel is a better song than anything on gkmc. So if a bunch of Internet, bandana wearing thug wannabes think different, does that change my opinion about it? No.

I don't lose anything my friend.

You brought up what people think of it first you dipshit  I was the one who said I didn't care what anyone thought

Kendrick because his album was much better.
It's easy to write a hot song or a good 16, but to write an album that doesn't disappoint from start to finish is a feat worth recognizing.

Because you were acting as if what I mentioned before was an unpopular opinion. Then I listed my own personal reasons on why I think the dude is an amazing artist.

I never said anything about your opinion, except that it was stupid and then I gave my opinion. All I wanted you to do was explain why Big Krit was "better than Kendrick and Cole combined," which you did not do.

I did:

Fuck no. KRIT is a phenomenal artist. A rare combination of all the important parts of hip hop, from flow to delivery to content. Plus he makes fucking jaw-droppingly good beats.

He recently killed a bunch of rappers, including Kendrick, on 1Train. If J. Cole was on it too, he would have suffered the same faith.

True artist.

Want more?

If we compare KRIT to Cole, both are similar artists. The former has more interesting content in his songs, not to mention that I enjoy his delivery slightly more. As far as production goes, I think Cole is great, but KRIT justs destroys him. Cole has great beats, but they don't have their own identity; they feel like good versions of what's already out there. KRIT on the other hand has his own sound and has also created stuff that's unlike other beats I've heard (see My Sub. p2).

As far as Kendrick goes, one could make a point that Kendrick's lyrics are more complex, which is fair. To me, I much prefer KRIT's laid-back style, his content is also better and more appealing. I also feel that, unlike Kendrick, KRIT doesn't rely on gimmicky flows or accents.

So in resume, KRIT's excellent mix of content, enjoyable voice, relatable lyrics, flow, ear for beats and talent for making beats makes him a better artist than the other two.

Maybe not rely, but he over-uses them. Sometimes it works to great effect (m.a.a.d city), sometimes it sounds fucking stupid (Backseat Freestyle)

I'm certainly not the only person who feel this way, considering how KRIT's previous tapes are considered phenomenal bodies of work and most people who appreciate good music appreciate and recognize his talent.

It doesn't matter what anyone else says. I don't care if everyone in the world thinks KRIT is the greatest rapper of all time. It's meaningless to this conversation, and it's irrelevant and actually works against you. G.K.M.C is the most praised album of the last couple years and Section.80 received huge critically acclaim as well. J. Cole's mix tapes are also some of the most praised tapes of all time and any hhh would say it. So even if you want to (wrongly) appeal to authority, you still lose.

:y:
big krit will never get more praise than these 2 artists.
The end of 2011 was all about j cole (considered as a future great artist) and GKMC is actually one of the highest rated albums of all time.
People say the album is overrated because the media compare it to illmatic and gkmc is topping critics’ lists for album of 2012... big krit's album/mixtapes don't even have that "universal acclaim"

This is an opinion, glad you have one lol.

From what I've seen and heard (which isn't a lot on either admittedly), but from what I have seen and heard artistically, visually, and with the raps and lyricism...

I don't think he would enjoy Cole World, that album is sooo boring and average tbh. His mixtapes are better.

Everything you just said is subjective....and I would disagree with every point. I prefer J. Cole's content to Big Krits, J. Cole's delivery is much more appealing than Krit's is and J. Cole's production is 10x better than Krit's. Just good versions of whats out there? Who else has made a beat like God's Gift? But that's all subjective anyway. However, J. Cole is a much better song writer, that's what you've been avoiding and that's what you can't really argue with. His hooks are incredible and he lyrically surpasses Krit in every category, plus his rhyming is much better.

Again, everything you're saying is subjective, one could argue all those points except in the opposite direction. Except Kendrick is more complex lyrical and overall smashes Krit lyrically, which is why he's better.

So in resume, KRIT's excellent mix of content, enjoyable voice, relatable lyrics, flow, ear for beats and talent for making beats makes him a better artist than the other two.

So in resume, none of those things make Krit better than either of the two.
