I don't really like the gangster phase. I guess that's pretty much 2003-07 (features mostly), since he wasn't like that on Encore. When I think about it, I guess it's more so 2005-07.

On Encore he was acting even worse.

Like Toy Soldiers = Eminem acting like a mob boss who was retiring from a life of crime because he'd had enough...when all that happened was a few diss tracks were released back and forth.

The subject matter isn't that appealing to me, but the execution during this period was pretty suck, and he hit a few all-time lows.. Even so, I don't hate the stuff from that era as much as others seem to.

idk why but whenever I think of gangster Eminem the first thing that comes to my mind are those generic intros/outros that he used to do around that time

"Yo fid, time ta hate us again" or something stupid similar to that, then he'd have that annoying laugh of his.
