Lines that you think get too much hate

What lines do you see receiving a lot of hate that you actually like

"I'm so done with this shit I may as well wipe"

Tbh I don't mind this line in the slightest and it gets sooo much hate. I've never understood it. It's miles above "Ima put this shit in park, like dog shit" or even 50% of his punchlines. At least he doesn't go "I'm so done with this shit OTHERWORDS I may as well wipe".

"I'm the butt police and I'm looking at your rear rear rear"

Probably what kills the verse for most people, but I don't really care. I don't love the verse as a whole, and I don't think this line sticks out as particularly bad (or I should say worse than the rest of his verse).

Lol yeah it was pretty dumb. But it's kind of a quotable now, if the song wasn't made as a single (which it was) i wouldn't like it nearly as much. But I had fun saying that to my friends.

I'd like to flip this on the OP for a moment and ask what his threshold is for lines that are worthy of the hate. He just defended window pane so I'm genuinely interested to what it takes

I only defended Window Pain because it amused me. It like the type of line you can be rapping along to then pause, look someone dead in the eyes and go "guess that's why they call it window pain". It's kind of funny and for that reason I like it. I admitted it was corny as shit, the line isn't clever or anything.

I think there are some utterly cringe worthy lines, like:
"Give a little poot poot it's ok *fart noise* oops my CD just skipped and everybody heard you let one rip"

I guess the threshold for me is fart/burp/poo noises and jokes. But even then, I genuinely don't mind the "so done with this shit" line. If it was like "So done with this shit *fart/poo/plop noise* I may as well wipe", I'd hate it.

He has some bad lines, but I don't have to hate every bad line.

Butt police, by far. Goddamn Big Sean made a whole song about asses for fuck's sake and no one says he fell off because of it. Dumbasses.

I think if rappers like Ludacris (I mention him because I've been listening to a lot of him lately), 2 Chains, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa can all rap about stupid bullshit like their dicks and fucking girls in the club and drugs then I don't see why Eminem can't.
