16 bars is a standard verse. A bar is like, 4 taps of the feet in the certain beats per minute.

32 bars is just double that, usually for a freestyle beat yo.

Punchline is like... a double meaning. A joke or something. Example: the "Aquaman drowns and the Human Torch starts swimming" in Cold Wind Blows.

I agree he should have matched syllables, but nobody would consider that a 14 syllable multi.

"A waste" and "we're placed" wouldn't rhyme. Maybe if they were between two rhyming syllables (like "they" and "re-"), but not at the start of a bar.
