Why did Eminem lie about his age?

Kim might be one, since the original is from '97 I think. However judging by his voice I'd say it was recorded after the SSLP since his voice acting is incredible on that track.

well from his voice, Kim could be from 97-98, because in My Fault (SSLP) his voice sounded a lot like his voice in Kim, when he says at the end "please wake up, please, PLEASE WAKE UP, what are you doing..."

I didn't mean the sound of his voice, I meant the quality of his voice acting.
