not saying that all are like that but southern states have worse education, more religious people, more republicans and racists than other parts in the US.

welcome to the 21st century. I no longer have to go somewhere personally to meet people and to know what they think.
Just look the last presidental election map thing where most romeny voters came from southern (and other hillbilly) states.
