That's sick, I think it's one of the best Em's performance since his comeback.

That's cool that he's singing the hook of Not Afraid by himself there and not playback.

I love that performance as well, the intro is amazing...

just shows how much better Recovery could have been. "Not Afraid" performed like that, has a whole new life and feel to it... if the music was produced in a real and intimate way rather than loud and tacky, it would have been a whole other ball game.

When? only part he doesn't do live really is the bridge and some of the hook. He's ALWAYS had a backing track on so his vocals double-up and that it's there if he drops out, and so he can rap in time... but he's rapping live there, and he even puts the mic down on the bridge to show he ain't doing it.

Not really lip-syncing.. I just dunno how to explain it. Like at 2:29, and the backing track says "Slept thru his plane and he missed it." I'd rather have had B.o.B just be his hype-man than the actual recording of the song fill in the end of his lines.
