I'll be honest, I've never heard anything from Lil Wayne that would make me think that he can write better than Hopsin...and I'm certainly not one of those people that thinks Hop's the best thing since scat porn either.

I'll keep listening, but I have yet to understand why Lil Wayne was ever considered a skilled writer.

If anything, Tyler and Earl bit Eminem's style way more than Hopsin.

What exactly did he jack from Eminem? His IDGAF attitude and his writing style? His beats? I don't know, I understand why people would say there's a lot of similarity but I don't understand when they say he totally jacked his style.

He does sometimes sound similar to Eminem, especially on songs such as Baby's Daddy, but he's more mature now. You can tell from his last verses/songs that he's trying to create his own style and image.

Hopsin has one of the best flows/deliveries in the game, and he deserves to be rated high based on that alone. As for how he is rated; he's overrated by kids who are just getting into Hip-Hop, and post YouTube comments on the regular, but he's underrated by people who let's say post on KTT, they really hate him over there as someone else already pointed out.

Also, it's very important to remember that Hopsin has done everything by himself, all he's ever had is a home studio. To get from there to the attention he's getting now is really admirable. It's great for Hip-Hop because it shows you that talent and skill can actually get you somewhere, and that it IS possible to "make it" from your own home.

I'm not saying that there aren't other independent artists who are doing great, but hardly anyone is pushing the views Hop does on YouTube.

He's also incredible when it comes to treating your fans right, and Hopsin deserves a lot of respect for that.
