I've been there twice... you'll find a lotta 50 bucks a night hotels actually. There was a Russian tour operator in LA that worked with some hotels that cost 20 bucks a night plus buffet breakfast. I mean apart the 4 star hotels all the rest only care to have you spending in their casinos anyway so food & rooms suppose to be kinda cheap.

BE AWARE OF CON ARTISTS... ANY money related story someone is trying to sell to you is scam. A lotta polite people might turn into con artists overall.

The thing is... Vegas is like a weekend city IMO. Esp. if you're not much into sightseeing & shit.
I'd give you a whole different idea for the trip but you already bought the plane tickets. You should have went & stayed in LA & just driven to Vegas for a day or two. No comparison really.

I don't know if it's possible for you to work it out to fly to Vegas & still visit LA for the most part 'cuz that's what would make you happy actually... I'm sure about it.
I see it this way... 2 days in Vegas are way more than enough but all the time in the world is not enough for California.

This trip was supposed to be a Vegas trip, which is why we booked the hotel in Vegas. We might go to LA for a day or two.

We live pretty far away, so going to Vegas for the first time for only 2-3 days is not gonna happen. I am not paying that much for the flight tickets, plus being in the airplane for at least 20 hours. Maybe next time.

Two weeks. We're looking at it as a vacation where we party, but also have days where we go see the different hotels/casinos, relax, etc... so I am sure the two weeks will go by fast.
