I haven't tried the Soir edition, but I hear some good things about it.

Aqua, aquamarine, and blv notte i've tried and I found them to be just average.

Bulgari Black is pretty good though, and I was going to buy it until I discovered that Midnight In Paris smelled just like it (but better, at least in my eyes)

yeah, it depends.

many of the $200+ you can get for under $150

honestly, i'd rather pay $150 for one that i'm really crazy about than pay $40 for one thats just okay

I have that Jean Paul Gaultier, it's pretty bad. Armani is a lot fucking better.

Creed... I'm impressed. I haven't tried Royal Water yet, but I want to. You should try Aventus and Virgin Island Water for sure.

And 1 Million is one of my favorite mainstream colognes (I'm having 1 Million in my collection till I die)

I own this one too. It's not in my top 10 favorites but I still like it alot. It's a total powerhouse (I only go one spray with it) so it's great for the winter. It's a scent you gotta be in the mood for though.
