1. PRODUCTION
Now as we all know many were disappointed with the Recovery album`s production as it was considered as being watered down and weak which I can understand, the beats to me were fine although Alex da Kid kind of ruined the album but overall not a big deal but not so great either. What Em needs to do is produce this album himself like he did with the Eminem Show due to three reasons, it will help him gain more respect as a producer as I believe he is underrated, second his flow fits really well on his beats and third it will make the album more cohesive. If the production is anything like Relapse then that would be amazing too, because the production on Relapse was phenomenal! Other producers such as Dr. Dre, Bass Brothers, DJ Premier and Kanye would be pretty amazing also. The problem with Recovery was that it was very disjointed, unorganized, mixtape heavy on the beats and it did not feel cohesive or natural in regards to the interconnecting links between transitions from song to song. Eminem needs to show the world why he`s also a talented producer. I would love to see more darker and sinister beats as well.
2. NO POP OR MAINSTREAM FEATURES
Now many would agree that another downfall for Recovery was the features and I agree although the features did do good in regards to what they were featured on it was a problem for me personally in regards to the now poppy image Eminem has been perceived as and I believe Eminem doesn`t need a poppy or mainstream song such as Love the Way You Lie, No Love and etc, although I really do like those songs in their own way. I don`t want to see Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Pink, One Direction and etc on this new album. I want Eminem to start fresh as well as try to stay away from the more poppy sound and beats. I believe when Eminem is on a certain beat it changes his flow and the way that flow is delivered he needs the proper beat and proper feature to help motivate him to shine. I don`t want to see Lil Wayne really on the next album either or Nicki Minaj, Drake might suit better than the other two on a concept track.
3. LIMITED OR NO FEATURES
Now Recovery did not have a lot of features and Eminem albums in general don`t really have a lot of features but they do have features that stand out. I would love to see Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Dina Rae, Dido, Elton John, Skillet, Dr. Dre, E.S Posthumus, T.I Yelawolf and Adele(maybe) or Linkin Park(maybe). Adele although pop is an exception she`s a good singer and I would like to see her sing a hook, no verses just hook on a dark concept like Stan or darker. Now as for Linkin Park, I always wondered what would happen if these two juggernauts were to go at it on a crazy concept track, not the current styles but old classic styles and many might disagree but I would love to see a track produced by Eminem in which both work on a concept such as Numb, Papercut, In The End, Points of Authority and We Made it. That would be awesome as both would work well on a sound that suits them both and if they sit down and discuss the concept it can be really good. But overall I don`t want to see that many features maybe one or three but in my personal opinion I always preferred no features because I want Eminem to shine again, sometimes the feature can also take away from the artist and I want Em to show why he`s one of the greatest.
4. CONCEPTS AND STORIES
I want Eminem to start fresh with this album, I want to see raw storytelling, creativity and genius. Eminem is known for masterpieces such as Stan, Lose Yourself, Kim, Guilty Conscious, Mockingbird and etc. He needs to bring back that fire and I believe he can, but he needs to look into himself and understand that he still has it. There were awesome concepts on Recovery such as Almost Famous but Eminem can blow us away if he really puts in the effort. I would really like to see Eminem touch on subjects such as his relationship with his father but in a different light like maybe in the form of reaching out to him through a letter, I would also like to see Eminem touch on the recent events throughout the world that are political, economical and religious and etc. I would like to see him address the popular rumor of him becoming a born again Christian and if its true then that`s good for him as I believe it to be a good thing. I would like to see concepts similar to My Darling as well and it would be really cool if Eminem expanded on that idea but in a new way. I know this might sound crazy but I would like to see Eminem and 50 cent rap on a beat similar to Many Men where the concept is that they are switching places and are describing how it feels to be in the others` shoes in which they rap from each others perspective as I talk about their enemies over the years.
5. CONTROVERSY
Now many want to see Slim Shady return although I like Slim Shady I believe Eminem can create controversy through different concepts revolving around the Slim Shady character, I would like to see Slim Shady but in a different way, a more creative as well as outspoken way where there`s a concept or story behind it. It would be cool if Eminem started to diss Benzino, Rick Ross and the pop artists such as One Direction or Justin Bieber as I think that would make sense in regards to him being labeled or associated with a group that is pop. Eminem needs that spark again but for a good reason and cause, I would like to see Eminem go at the Government again like he did in Mosh and White America or even maybe expose the industry to a degree.
6. FLOW
The flow I would like to see from Eminem is a more relaxed, refined, natural flow instead a forced flow of yelling, and accents I would rather see the flow like Careful What you Wish For, When I`m Gone, and Cleanin Out My Closet. The voice that I would like to hear or style of voice would be the same tone he did on Slaughterhouse`s song Our House where he did the bridge. I won`t mind Eminem rapping with complexity and rawness but more in a natural as well as relaxed way. I think he needs to put more emotion into his verses like he did on When I`m Gone (which I think is underrated). No accents, whining or yelling, please.
7. THEME
Relapse did a better job in regards to theme than Recovery in my opinion as you can tell Eminem was really into the concept of serial killers and etc but Eminem needs to that with this album he needs that sheer passion and drive like he had on Relapse. I would like this album to have a theme and a memorable one at that in which it stands out from Em`s previous albums, something more fresh and new. I would like for the theme and sound to be similar to that of the Marshall Mathers LP, something really dark, haunting and hardcore but at the same something that touches the heart.
8. SING YOUR OWN HOOKS
Now many definitely agree on this matter as I believe the female voices were awesome but I don`t want to see anymore of the choruses done by unknown females or Kobe but Eminem himself in which he does the chorus on his own. Eminem also needs to get Sly who did the Fast Lane hook and do a song inspired by Till I Collapse and Cinderella Man, a pump up track but darker. Although we are most likely going to get a Skylar Grey feature on the album which I don`t mind but I prefer there not to be any pop or unknown female singers. I would`t mind Amy Lee from Evanescence singing a hook she is a really good singer and I would like to hear her sing on a very dark, emotional, conceptual and haunting song such as this one.

9. DON`T MOVE BACKWARDS
Now Eminem has made it loud and clear that he acknowledges the reception of Relapse and Encore in which he is pretty outspoken on songs such as Talkin 2 Myself, Not Afraid, and Cinderella Man. Em needs to move past that and understand that those albums were in the past but he needs to move on so that he can evolve as an artist, he should stop talking about his drug problems or Haile unless he does so in the form of a concept song.
10. MELODIES
Now one thing I noticed is that Eminem really shines when there is a good melody for him to work with such as Like Toy Soldiers, No Apologies, When I`m Gone, Cleanin Out My Closet and Way I Am, and all have amazing melodies. Eminem needs to bring back the melodies, piano strings and he needs to do this himself along with his own beats or if he has the other producers handling it he should supervise or check the beats and make sure they fit.
11. ROCK BANDS
Now I did address this earlier but I did not elaborate on these features specifically now many would disagree strongly but Eminem always worked well on a rock type beat or sample although collabs are different, it would be awesome if Eminem were to produce the beat and lay out the concept as well as sit down with the following bands, Linkin Park, Skillet, Evanescence, Disturbed, E.S Posthumus, Hollywood Undead and Sum 41 (my favorite band) but this is just my opinion and not to be taken personally.
12. BALANCE
Now I would like to see not only a balance as well as cohesiveness when it comes to the production but also I want to see the same when it comes to the songs, content and message. I would like to see emotional songs, slim shady songs, concept type songs and political as well as religious songs but with a balance and I would like to see stronger as well as more positive messages throughout the songs along with more relatability and substance.
13. SINGLE
I would like the single to be serious like Not Afraid but have the funny element of Without Me or even have it in the form of a concept where Eminem is rapping about how the world would miss if he died or passed away. Just something really deep as well as dark. Another potential thing I would like to see from the single is a pump up song like Till I Collapse with the chorus being sung by Sly who did the Fast Lane chorus.
14. RETROSPECT AND THANKS
I would like to see Em talk about his appreciation for rap and give shout outs as well as thank the fans.
This is what I want to see from Em for his next album but I cannot wait for his next album as I trust Em enough to know that it will be a classic!
