Yeah, CO isn't technically a hip hop album but let's be honest...do we discuss Frank Ocean music here or in General Music?
I just started listening to CO tbh. But I love it, it's a great album. It had kind of the same emotions listening to it as Take Care, which is also a great album. I'm not a Drake fan but I'm open-minded enough to call good music good. Both kinda take you into these guys' fucked up worlds and hear their tales of failed love and bar hopping. Frank Ocean has AMAZING concepts on his album and so did Drake.
So, my question to you is...who pulled it off better? Who has the better voice for the genre (R&B part, that is)?
My answer...channel ORANGE. It really just takes you for a ride. If you're high listening to this album it's 10 times better. This is how everyone should try to make albums. Just fully immerse themselves in the music. Pyramids and Pink Matter >>>>>>>>>*
