It's a bit too simply maybe, but is a change. Maybe with some red in the letters or something would be better....

In all honesty, it looks too simple. Too plain. I understand simplicity is key sometimes, but the banner doesn't work well with the site's colors (black/brown/red).

No disrespect to Solace cuz I love the guy, but that's my 2 cents.

It's nice. It makes the site look slightly less horribly depressing in colour scheme since it's brighter.
