I can't believe that she would do that...I can't believe that he (the man who's name is on her face) would even LET her do that as someone that actually loved her. There's no way in fucking hell I would let someone I cared about do that to themselves, because (aestheticism aside) the relationship could always go bad.

Yup, I would never make my girlfriend/wife get my name tatted on them lol. Children are different because your son/daughter will always been your child. Your girl, however, won't always been your girl unless you stay together forever. Which doesn't happen often unless you're having an affair.
