I liked the earlier Genesis-era Sonic games.
Sonic 2 > Sonic 1 > Sonic 3 (Knuckles)
Those are my top 3 favorite Sonic games.
In 4th place , is Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.
Shadow the Hedgehog was pretty good (I don't understand the hate). And I had fun with Sonic Heroes.
Sonic 4 (a recent release) didn't impress me much. And after around 2005, I stopped playing all the other Sonic games that came out.
After that SEGA released a lot of bad Sonic games, even they admitted it, so they removed all the low-rated ones off the shelves.

Sonic the gawd, StH2 is the easiest imo (still fun) while StH3 & Knuckles is alot harder.
