This is my first time hearing that "Freedom" song. Holy shit, where have I been? I actually agree with Almostlity on this one, why this song wasn't nominated is beyond me.

no he uses the songs throughout the film perfectly. rick ross actually works well when he plays it during the film, and its only for like 15 seconds. the tupac part is by the far the best, but the entire filmed is scored perfectly.

Frank Ocean's Wise Man was cut from the OST but I've just found it and I'm obsessed!

QT has always done a great job using music in his movies. He has a great feel for playing the right song at the right time. Watch the scene in Reservoir Dogs with Mr.Blonde and the cop, he could not have picked a better song. Playing that Pac song during Django's gunfight was brilliant.

YES. I think the tupac thing was one of the highlights of the film, especially since it takes place when it does, you kinda dont expect it. But it's perfect.

Bought the soundtrack yesterday and saw it in theatres again. Both were great decisions.

that was pretty cool, especially since ive been bumping the django soundtrack since 2 days ago. he said in the flip-book thing you get with the cd he recorded them from his vinyls (obv only the older songs) so they have that feel.

Damn makes me respect him more for his music choice in django after seeing this, thanks
