I have HTC Incredible S, and rooted it a long time ago. I installed the unofficial version of Cyanogenmod 10. It's not perfect, but it's cool. A little slow maybe.

Do you suggest anything better?

Sounds like an iPhone fake from China, or someone just being weird and completely defeating the purpose of purchasing an Apple product. Seems like an expensive waste of time to me.

Well, obviously no iPhone will hit the shelves running Android OS. Apple's stance on things is that their software and hardware are tied together, and separating them is generally a violation of the license agreement. You can't even put a legally purchased version of the Mac OS on an Intel PC--despite the fact that the hardware is compatible--because Apple says that you don't own that software, you've licensed it from them.

Psystar got sued by doing that very thing. Selling Intel PC's running Mac OS X, or "hackintosh" computers. It was one of those moments that clearly illustrated how Apple feels about tinkering with their hardware or software.

So you won't see it done in a legit way. I haven't seen it done on an iPhone 5 (haven't paid attention) but there were some people doing it a few years ago on iPhones then. Now though, if you want a good Android phone, just get a Nexus 4.

Unlocked by default, cheap as hell, and running Android the way Google wants it to.

@SajN CM10 rom is Android 4.2.1...the rom I was talking about....so you have the most stable OS on ur HTC for ur model....I think HTC stopped updating ur phone with ICS (ice cream sandwich)?

It may be a little slow and or laggy because of the specs of ur phone and that is why Google does not send the update to HTC.

I see. I used to have CM 7 before this, and it was cool, but started getting slower and slower, that's why I changed. This is slow sometimes, and especially when I am writing a lot, then it just starts fucking up (for example when I am making a post in this forum, or when I am writing a lot on WhatsApp or SMS). That's kinda shitty, but other than that, I haven't really faced any problems.

U can't customize an Apple product to my knowledge.

I never even heard of an Iphone X ever, I always wanted a switchable OS to hit the market.

TBH that is either fake, a rumor or a Chinese product with fake IOS but real Android OS on it.



@SajN - I would just stay with that ROM if I were you if it is not that bad of an issue, ur phone may be slow or have a lot of lag because of the specs on ur phone. When you are ready to purchase another phone, I would suggest the Nexus 4....u cant beat it.
