Just because it's from a plant doesn't mean it's not a drug. Alcohol is a by-product of natural fermentation, and it's still a drug. Apples and lettuce aren't the same thing, they don't have THC in them which a drug. Pot does.

Most drugs, both legal prescription drugs and illegal drugs originated in nature. Doesn't mean they're not drugs.

It may make my opinion look stupid to those who consider pot a drug, I have had this conversation with many educated people (there are lots of educated people on tr) who have tons of knowledge on drugs, who all have high positions in thee work force and many have agreed with me and backed it up.

I would agree in the sense that pot isn't a hard drug like they treat it. I would hold it closer to alcohol (though I think weed has less negative's than booze) and caffeine than to heroin, ecstasy, or cocaine. It's still a drug by definition though, just like caffeine (even that in coffee beans).

It should be legal too, and that's coming from someone who doesn't smoke.

Ya by definition it is a drug I agree and maybe someday down the road they may find something hard core in it that really affects the body that has not appeared yet.
