Two of my favorite books are Sandra Cisneros, A House on Mango Street, and Tim O'Brien's, The Things They Carried. Both are books that, rather than have one arcing plot line, are full of short stories of the character's experiences during a specific time in their lives. I've always wanted to emulate this way of writing. Tonight, I think I found out how do my version of this. Another artistic endeavor may be hard to accomplish right now, but I think it may be time. So now, not only am I getting a new Jellyfish Brigade album ready and writing a Neon Autumn album, I will be starting a novel. Here's to having the inspiration and patience to withstand this brain racking, frustrating, rewarding process. Cheers.
