i think $300+ for a console with no amazing games yet is a bit much to ask.

when the price drops, and the new legend of zelda game comes out, i'll probably get it.

i think it's a big improvement over the wii, but it still has a lot more to do. it's not enough to beat a 6 year old console like the xbox 360. it needs to standup to the ps4 and the upcoming xbox.

i like wii u's new controller, and i like the emphasis on different sets of controls instead of motion controls only. hopefully this will attract developers and third parties. because that's what wii u needs.

the biggest problem with the wii u, imo, will be longevity. will the wii u's hardware be able to stay relevant in 4 or 5 years, or will it reach its capacity after 2 like the wii did.

Yeah I'm not getting it until there's a price drop plus an amazing game like Zelda coming out. MGS4 was the only reason I bought a PS3 at first so it would be the same for me with the Wii U. I haven't tried it yet, I'm very eager to though.

Wii U looks pretty fun (when more good games come out)

I would buy one, when the price drops. That controller is just too cool not to play with

it's not a port. but it is kind of a "more of the same" type of game.

You know, I actually believe this is well. I think they were starting it on the Wii then decided to give it HD graphics and slapped it on the Wii U instead.

Once the new Zelda comes out I'll probably get this. There will probably be a price drop by then too so that will work out. I did the same thing with PS3, got it 2 years later only for MGS4 when it was slightly cheaper.

Man, I really don't know what they're gonna do after Galaxy. 3D Land was so different because of the portability, but now they have to expand.

Exactly, they're already gone the opposite direction from Galaxy, now they have to come back and expand. I just don't know how they're gonna do it. But if anyone can do it, it's EAD Tokyo.

I had one for 2 weeks when it came out... then brought it back. I'm also all about being portable and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I went with a red 3DSXL and I've used it way more. Zelda in 3D?! Love. Awesome experience!
