i think $300+ for a console with no amazing games yet is a bit much to ask.
when the price drops, and the new legend of zelda game comes out, i'll probably get it.
i think it's a big improvement over the wii, but it still has a lot more to do. it's not enough to beat a 6 year old console like the xbox 360. it needs to standup to the ps4 and the upcoming xbox.
i like wii u's new controller, and i like the emphasis on different sets of controls instead of motion controls only. hopefully this will attract developers and third parties. because that's what wii u needs.
the biggest problem with the wii u, imo, will be longevity. will the wii u's hardware be able to stay relevant in 4 or 5 years, or will it reach its capacity after 2 like the wii did.
