I always liked the part where he "wakes up" while he's rapping, and raps with more energy...his voice was already ridiculously angry/shot, then he ramps it up to an almost comical level.

Yeah that's a meta element to his verse which he's always done to a degree... like, breaking the 4th wall (even though rappers typically speak AT the listener / with awareness anyway) of performance as if it's a live element... I like when he does that. Like on WBD with the volume thing. it's creative.
