My main problem with that change is that it would also change the meaning of the rhyme.

I do prefer saga continues, that's also a turn of phrase where as 'nostalgia continues' is not.

I know it would have disrupted the rhyme scheme Eminem was using: loose cannon/Bruce Banner/goose standin'; but I always wished he would have said "I'm the only SHADY standin'" as a reference to the hook of "The Real Slim Shady".
