Eh I don't like 'em but that's probably because I've become really disenchanted from this genre and rock music in general.

The reason I don't like death metal bands with vocals like this... it's honestly just boring. I'm a metalhead by nature but this shit just puts me to sleep. It's 5 minutes of some guy like BUHHHHHHHH. NUHHHHHHHHH. GUH NUH NUHHH. No melody, nothing terribly dynamic or interesting. I realize there's a niche for all kinds of metal, and this will do it for someone, but not for me.

This is how I feel. This goes double for people like myself who care a lot about production and sounds. It's probably why I love rap so much, because of all the different sounds, ideas, production...it has something that metal and rock just can't do for me. Metal sounds the same to me nowadays, the only rock bands I really listen to are ones like Tool and A Perfect Circle...Coheed and Cambria...you know, progressive bands who don't make traditional rock music.
