I've really enjoyed my short stint here, but I feel that my time is up.

I don't want to be part of a community where the foundations include spite, malicious attacks, and unnecessary censorship. North Korea gives more leeway than here at times. If the regime have a positive feeling towards something, yours cannot be negative. If the regime has a negative feeling towards something, yours cannot be positive. It's as if contrasting opinions are against the rules.

I could be more blunt with my personal opinions, but I try to add humour to them to show that I'm not an absolute dickhead, filled with hate. I hope I've portrayed myself as an easy going person in my time here, and if you don't feel that way then I apologise. Maybe things could have been different under other circumstances.

Thanks to all of the people who have made me laugh, think, listen and learn over the past couple of years. Some of you really are a credit to the human race, and I have the up-most respect for you.

In fear of rambling on, I'll keep it relatively short and leave it there. Oh, and before I forget, thanks for the feed on my track for the tape. That was sarcasm, by the way.

tbh, if I didn't know that some of you guys didn't have English as your native tongue, I'd have thought you guys were fluent. Guess_Who, I seriously didn't know you had trouble with your english or were even spanish for that matter (trss's chika references pointed that out). Your spelling is superb! Everyone's on here is!
I mean, when I was studying French & Spanish, I wouldn't be able to write a paragraph about anything I wanted. It would have to be some stupid stuff like 'I live in England. I am 16 years old. Hello. Goodbye.'

Same case with me when I was studying Spanish. Now I've forgotten everything except saying my name, lol.

Here in Norway we start learning English already in young age, and as you get older you can decide if you want to learn more (which I did), plus I listen to English songs and read English books, so it was way easier and interesting for me to learn.

This forum helped me a lot too.

Haha, of course. I think the best way is to just type normal English, without trying to find big words that you don't really understand. It will come automatically after a while.

My german teacher told me to do that too. Maybe british people just aren't built to speak other language. Eva or trimss though, they both have near perfect english.. my german consists of a few words now.

Well, my English is bad compared to most people here. I find difficult sometimes conjugate verbs because in Spanish is a bit different, also some things are confused to me like "bored- boring" (funny anecdote with this) or "I like you- you like me" I don't know who likes who. But I improved since I'm here. And now it comes more fluid and natural to speak in English.


@Sajn, Spanish is not that difficult. I think the main problem is that unlike in english, almost all the words has a genre. And the accents ´, apart from that is easy, anyway all the tourist here know how to say:

- una cerveza por favor - a beer please
- gracias - thanks
-chica bonita - beautifull girl

and you should learn to say:

-Visca el barça. This is not Spanish, is catalán. Not really a literal translation to English but something like " Life barça"...
