Leave Encore alone. Changing the track list makes no sense considering most of the songs are there for a reason, and putting songs like Stimulate on there would be really out of place.

I honestly enjoy the album, besides the obvious ones, like Big Weenie, My 1st Single, and Puke. I kind of enjoyed Just Lose It, because even though it was an obvious sign he was going downhill, it still felt like an actual Em song, and not just another song he made to make up for the leaked ones.

My 1st Single? It's hard to say, because I haven't listened to it in a few years. Last time I attempted to, that shit fucking mortified me, and I couldn't listen to it for more then a minute.

Minus the diss tracks (which he has never out on an LP before), this looks good.

The Ken Kaniff skit isn't a song, but it was a whole skit about ICP sucking dick.

Aside from those, yes, Eminem has never really had complete diss tracks on albums, but he has BLATANTLY dissed rappers all over his albums.

What four songs can replace the diss records? Puke? Ricky Tick Toc?

I prefer the diss records

I feel the diss records I included were handled in a mature manner and fit the concept/vibe of the album perfectly (except for Can-I-Bitch, but who takes Canibus serious anyway? Plus, how he flipped Children's Story in the beginning is classic).

Em had Girls at the end of Devils Night. Whether a hidden track or not, it still a diss track on an album (neither of you seem to imply whether you are just focusing on Em's solo albums or not), so clearly he will include a diss-track if it fits the period of the album.

Of course in the above example, the placement of Girls doesn't upset the album's flow, whereas on the Encore tracklist in the OP, the diss tracks will proportion to the albums overall feel.

I actually think Can-I-Bitch is a very slept on track. If Eminem came out with it today I think it would be met with great enthusiasm by fans. It has a catchy hook; some great rhyming; a funny story; great humour (What was that? Pet shop boys) and above all else it's an extremely competent, well made diss-track. In a nutshell it has everything this forum has asked for with regards to new music from Em, and it would definitely show - as the Warning did - that he can recapture that organic, easily witty vibe which he seems to have lost.

Maybe the whole point of Encore was to get away from all the serious subject matter on TES. It makes sense, considering most of the songs on Encore are all songs you wouldn't take seriously. The "Encore" to "The Eminem Show" is in a much more happier, carefree tone.

That's not a straight up diss song, though.

It very much so is though- just at multiple people. Aside from the "rottweiler" intro, every verse is talking shit, on everyone from other musicians to his own family.

As bad a song as it is, I find it very fun to listen to. A guilty pleasure, if you will.

I just hope Em will always put out stuff he thinks he should put out. Not trying to make something that the world likes.
