The part about throwing pennies at strippers is vintage, and fucking funny.

And the way he phrases all that is genius.

I was just listening to "On Fire" too, this is why I prefer non-introspective content, I prefer him trying to push boundaries with words and being creative; he's a wordsmith, I couldn't give a fuck about his tribulations. Just make something mind-blowing Em.

Yeah I like that line. Speaking of pennies, I like the line in untitled where he said "shiiit if I think a penny's pretty, just imagine how beautiful a quarter is to me".

You could argue that Deja Vu is his best track since his return and it was introspective. I definitely think it's one of his best and he is certainly capable of great introspective songs and they are really the only information about him we get.

I don't think "Deja Vu" is his best. You could argue that yeah but I don't think so. "Stay Wide Awake" blows it out the water, as does "Almost Famous" imo, and neither are introspective.

Some of his best tracks overall do often happen to be introspective, but they're not the tracks I ever listen to. When I think of the tracks I play over from every album, it's rarely ever the introspective ones. I don't find them very entertaining after the initial impact, they lose their punch... some more than others... where as if a song has an INCREDIBLE flow, concept and / or wordplay, I think there's more mileage and replay value. I listen to CWB more than GTC. By far.
