The look fits him perfectly to be honest, he always rep the redneck & it actually makes him the unique artist he is. Good look indeed but I don't know how his female following will react to it.
On another note A.S.A.P. really brought gold back... since those iced grills came around I thought I'd never see gold ones again... & here we are.

Lyrics get so much more powerful when you see the artist spit them out. That nice flowing part sounds so much better with him sitting there moving his hands.

I agree. Even though I've seen few videos that have ruined songs, most of the time videos make certain artists or certain songs way more powerful. On top of my head, I did like ''Sing for the moment'' from the first listen but when I saw the video for the first time I was totally outta my mind.

I'm not a huge fan of grills, but I get what he's doing. I'm pretty sure he had the grill during the original Trunk Muzik time frame (though I'm not sure) despite the fact that they didn't appear in the videos. It looks all crazy as hell, combined with the beard. I really do like the beard though, it completes his look...I always felt like Yelawolf needed something extra, because his face is so young-looking when shaved.

I laughed when he said "with two grams of candy" and then nonchalantly pointed at his nose.

Nah Yela didn't have grills in the videos for the original Trunk Music, no rapper have had golden ones for a long period before A.S.A.P brought gold back actually. It was all about ''ice'' before that, all grills were plat with diamonds. I remember No Limit rappers had gold ones way back but then it all changed, esp. since Paul Wall had them and started to make 'em & sell 'em to other rappers.

Oh yeah, I agree that he didn't seem to wear the grills in the videos, but he was wearing them around that time period sometimes. I found a video from 2010 where he's wearing what looks like a gold grill to me. I agree with what you're saying though about the gold grills--and grills in general--being sort of phased out for a bit there.
